Not all pride is loud

Feeling ko yung Media in Philippines represent two kinds of gays: Punchline or Aesthetic. If hindi ka sa dalawa, you have no space. 23 years old na ako and I honestly have to say my queerness is not loud. Feeling ko its a rough sketch-unfinished, sometimes fragmented, sometimes hidden, but it is real.  Spaces like these realy matter, no need to perform but simply exist

Hi there, I am a freshie who just entered uni. I got quiet after reading what you posted. I relate to some statements but not as a whole. It's like im nearing to fully understanding things but its "just not it." Lesbian ako and I do not really see myself in modern queer media.  Its only two kinds either 'maarte' or confident na mayabang. Honestly, I am neither. I am confused and still thinking through a lot of things. This reflection happens in my classes, readings, and commute, LMAO.  I can't see the full picture yet and maybe you are right. Maybe I am still sketching things the queer way too.
